Bangkok Getaway

We flew Bangkok way back last June 2008.Its quite a long haul flight for about 7hours from AbuDhabi. It was a great trip which we never planned.Though everything went so rush,we manage to go almost all tourist destination around the city. The preservation of their culture is what the best thing in Bangkok.Temples are everywhere and monuments like Buddhas. As we landed at Bangkok International Airport, we went to a hotel booth, since the pre-booking of the hotel has not been done.Rush from the Airport to the hotel,a couple of minutes of rest.We went immediately to the city’s tourist destination. The “Wat Ratchanantdaram Temple”Wat Ratchanatdaram

Located on Mahachai Road, the temple was built in the reign of King Rama III in 1846. Loha Prasat, the temple’s main attraction, standing 36 meters high with 37 surrounding spires, is the only one of its kind left in the world. Next to the temple is the area for welcoming an important foreign guest and a memorial, statue of King Rama III.
Thanks to our city tour guide.Which you can have for a couple of Thai Baht (Thailand Local Currency) with a service van.In this city of  Life.Thers so much more thing you can do.Aside from site seeing, you can also shop at the Suan Lum Night Bazaar.A place like Divisoria, you can buy everything you need, from accessories, dress to furniture. Its like a complete fashion house where everything is very cheap.
